P.A.L.S. could not survive without the support of our caring volunteers to complement the work of the staff. Some of our volunteers are trained to assist individual patients to offer support services, including transportation for medical appointments or assisting with the patient’s domestic needs.
The majority of our volunteers assist with P.A.L.S. many fundraising activities such as the P.A.L.S. Walk, Tag Day, the Holiday Fair, selling raffle tickets, manning the Memorial Tree and in the Thrift Shop throughout the year.
P.A.L.S. benefits from ‘community days of service’ from local businesses and schools to help with the upkeep of the building, painting and cleaning. If you or your company is interested in volunteering, there is always an opportunity to help out at P.A.L.S. Giving of your time can be just as important and needed, as your funds.
